  I bought a bunch of soft copper tubing and various fittings to make a wort chiller and a mash tun.  Both are pretty easy projects and well worth the expense and time.
  But, being the impatient person that I am AND  having a large snow bank in the back yard, I decided to fire up the boiler and get a batch going.   Well, it took all most two hours of playing with the snow trying to get the temperature down, which of course during that time it started to rain.
 SO MUCH FOR SNOW BANK CHILLERS!!
  I will dig out the torch, tubing cutter and other weapons and build proper tools.

  Just used my wort chiller for the first time today.  3 gallons of wort from full boil to 69 degrees in 12 minutes.   Cool!
