Had a couple of these over the weekend.  It is a nice dark beer with a nice creamy head and lacings while drinking.  It is a little bitter, but not too overwhelming.  In my book it would a slow drinking beer and not a session drink.  Overall a decent product.

I had 2 of the Sam Adam's Holiday Porter last night.  Not bad, a little hoppier than I expected, but no where near IPA levels.  I agree this would not make a daily brew.  I'ld drink it again though I prefer a little stouter porter.
Also had 2 Sam Adam's Winter Lager.  This is a spiced beer, not my favorite taste.  OK, but I would not ask for one.

I have more in that mixed pack that I have not tried yet.  I tried the chocolate bock, but I could not taste much chocolate in it.
