I have several bucket type fermenters, 6.5 & 7.9 gallon styles.  Also have a pair of 8 gallon plastic barrel's with screw on lids.  The barrel's are a pain to clean and do not have handles.  I wasn't going to use them again, but with the 5.5 gallon batch size and the crazy fermentaion I've had lately, I may have to.  I may also try the 8 gallon fermenters blaine has from brewcraft.
Some time in February I'll have the 1/2 Kegs ready to use and I'll be making 12 gallon batches.  Looking at the prices of the 15 gallon minibrew conical fermenters, looks like I'll need at least 5 of the 8 gallon fermenters!

I found 15 gallon plastic drums on ebay, ordered a couple.  They are White EDPE food grade with a screw off lid that seals with a removable seal.  They have large lugs on top for easy open/ closeing and large handles on either side.  I will not be able to lug them to the basement lagering box due to weight and bad back, but I may bring the lagering box up to the garage or make a cabinet or something so I could at least brew ale's in the summer.
