I've got a 35 gallon trash can full of bottles to wash.  I think I'll get rid of the regular brown bottles and just keep the Grolsch flip-top bottles.  I've got about ten cases of cleaned brown 12oz bottles I'll keep.  I like the kegs!  I'll use the bottles for the coffee stout.

I like those Flip top bottles pretty good. They hold enough for me and the wife to have a good size glass of beer with dinner.  I would like to try the keg thing, but I don't have the space.  I have to find out how many bottles I will need for that five gallons of Wheat beer.  I check the gravity last night and it was 1.010.  I will check it again maybe Wendsday to see if it is finnished.  It got that classic Wheat beer look to it.   I would like to make a Stout sometime Extract with some speacialty grains and maybe coffee in the secondary.

The flip top bottles are very cool!  I am planning to do a "4-pack" for gifts next year.  1 bottle each of coffee stout, porter, IPA and a black & tan or lager.  My son, son-in-law and some of my friends really like the homebrew, so this would make nice gifts.  I want to get these wine kits done for much the same reason.  I also want to make cheese kits!

We got a couple of wine kits at the store on Sat.  A White Chocolate Port and a Blueberry Shiraz to make.  The wife picked these out so I hope they turn out well.  I just bottled that Chiantai and next week I have to bottle that 3 gallons of apple wine. It hase cleared up nicely and taste pretty good too.

I will have a very busy 6 or 7 weeks, but I want to make the brews I have measured out.  I got a 50lb bag of North Western pale 2 row and a 55lb bag of UK Crisp Pale Ale Malt the other night at the meeting.  I just got a shipment of 5lbs of hops so I have my work cut out for me!
