Dave,
Good to see your back on-line! I saw no posts/changes for a month or so, I've just been looking in every few weeks. Yes it is brewing time! As soon as the wood is stacked, one last fishing trip to the beach(in two weeks to Lewes,DE, Striper or TauTog), replace the engine in my truck and replace the roof on my Mother-in-laws porch. LOL
As everybody seems to want more of the big dark beer, (Sticky Wicket) That will be the first 2 - 3 batches, maybe more! Both of the Kamut beers were affected by the heat during fermentation, both are still in the fridge. Not terrible, just not really tasty. Oh Well! Live & Learn!
Pete

I have been thinking about getting up to the store too, and looking for something to brew. I have been busy as well too just working and living. That pilsner I made ealier is starting to mellow out some, even though it lost most of the head. I am about ready to start since I have been drinking that up.

I need to brew several batches of Stout. Seems to be everyones favorite here. I missed the "Teach a Friend to Brew Weekend" at the store Saturday November 5th. But we did do some serious beer taste testing! This past weekend was our 2nd Anual "Fish-n-Brew" weekend at Rehobeth Beach! The fishing part was postponed until today due to gale force winds yesterday. We caught a few Tautog and more than enough Oyster Cracker. However!! It gave us plenty of time to sample 7 beers from Dogfish Head, a few from 16 Mile Brew (also out of DE) as well as a few imports. I'll post in the beer reviews when I unpack my notebook. I will say the Dogfish Head Chickory Stout was far and away the favorite!

Yes, I am starting to get the itch to brew. I have a engine swap that has to get done in the next couple of weeks, then I can start brewing! My F150 has a 4" suspension lift, so I need to remove most of the front end sheet metal to be able to do the work in my garage due to a 9' ceiling. While the fenders hood and radiator support are off I will attempt to paint them.
I did a bunch of work in my garage this summer, built storage area and cabinet for my brewing ingredient collection and equipment. I have a 2' x 7' Stainless Steel work bench for brewing, several outdoor type burners and the plumbing to put H&C water into the garage. So with all of this going on in the garage, no room to brew! I also want to build a brewing stand something like the BrewMaster set up. I may do a small batch in the kitchen though.
Cheers!

Sounds like you got a lot going on. I hope you truck job goes good. My old Ranger had a three inch lift on it and I loved it. It was a good truck, but I kept losing torque converters and 4,000 dollaqrs later I got rid of it. I got a new truck last year and I hope it stays good for awhile.
I think I am going to try and brew on Tuesday because I got some family thing to do on Monday, but Tuesday is my wifes birthday so we will see.
Happy Brewing.. Dave
