Will a bottled beer that is prety bitter eventually mellow out?  I would hate to dump a couple of cases just get the bottles to try and brew something else.

I know aging does a lot for off flavors.  Sounds like a good time to buy a case or two of import or craft bottled beer!  All most all domestic "big name" beer is bottled in twist offs.  I like the Grolsch flip tops, so I buy 1 case of (full) bottles a month!

Sounds like a plan..  I may just let them age a little bit more and see if they improve.  I may have enough bottles already to make something else.
