I have 2 beer kits I am hoping to get to this week!  One is a Belgian Wit, the other a Irish Stout.  These are both Brewcraft Kits from HB4L.  I think I am going to make them both "un-modified", and keg them.

Got the starters going.  Fermenters are sanitized, ingredients are organized and I've got that brewing itch!

Update: On the Prohibition type houch.  It turned out a nice amber color, not much sediment, good carbonation.  It has a decent taste with a very high level of alcohol.  It was late when I made it so I forgot gravity reading but here is what I used.  3.3 LME, 4 lbs of sugar, 2 cups of softened raisons, 4 gallons of water.  Feremented 21 days.  Made sure SG reading was steady and bottle with 1 teaspoon of dextrose.
