Can a beer stop fermenting at around 1.020.  I had that reading when I wanted to bottle, I will give it three more days and recheck.  I made a mistake and did not get a starting gravity so I am worried about bottle bombs. It has been in the primary for over two weeks.

Thanks
Dave

Re-check your gravity daily until it remains the same 2 - 3 days in a row.  That may be a bit high for a low gravity style beer.  I'm going to assume this is your Coopers Pilsner.  It may take longer if it is fermenting at a temperature much different than recommended.

Thanks, I will check it tomorrow and Tuesday and see what it is.  I am at work now hopefully it will be done before we go on our camping trip here soon.  I have high hopes for it.  I still have to try one of those Fromboise again before we go.  I am hoping some of that bitterness has disapated.

Thanks

I checked the gravity on two differeent days ( actually it was the same reading I had on last Thursday) and it was exactlly the same, So I went ahead and bottle the batch in 500ml EZ cap bottles.  It really seemed to me like it was ready.  I hop it turns out well, so I am going to let it sit for 3 or 4 weeks to carb up and condition.  It should be a good brew because it tasted good flat.

The 2 batches I made this weekend have slowed down a lot.  I'll rack to a secondary tonight or tomorrow.  I'll let it sit a week then bottle.  I washed out 6 cases worth of bottles today.  My favorite job.

I know I washed 3 cases of the EZ caps that night, and it took me a while.  I got 35 bottles out of that batch.  I looks really good.  It is slightly bitter with a good malt background. It is slightly darker than I was expecting, but I am looking forward to it.  I am already planning my next batch.  I am thinking about that Thomas Cooper Wheat.  Have you ever made it?

Dave,

No I have not.  But the other Cooper kits were good.
