Coopers Pilsner

From what I read on the can It said temperatures should be toward the low end for fermentation. I do not have the equipment to bring the temps down. I was wondering if I set My fermenter in a storge tub full of water if it would help bring the temp down as close as possible to around 70 degrees?

I don't know that just being in the tub of water would make a lot of difference. I'ld get a cheap stick-on type thermometer and try a few things. One thing that may help is to hang a towel over the fermenter so it is also in the water. The towel will wick the water and evaporation may add aditional cooling. Add a tray of ice three or four times a day ...

I may start this today if we have time too. I sure it will turn out decent as long as it does not get too hot. Her dad really like homebrew beer better. He used to make it years ago using the old methods and then feeding it to keep it going.
