Ahhhh ... Sample Night at home!

This week my roommate and I sampled a Samuel Smith Gift Pack, my first bottle of Elderberry Mead and the last few bottles of MrBeer WITty Monk Modified. Samples tried in order of color & gravity. I am not a professional beer taster so my descriptions may lack formal terminology.
Samuel Smith: India Ale. Very smooth, delicious light hop flavor. This is a VERY good India Ale in the traditional English manner.
Samuel Smith: Nut Brown Ale. This will never be confused with New Castle Brown Ale. Full of caramel flavor yet extremely smooth, not overly sweet.
Samuel Smith: Oatmeal Stout. Nice full body but not overbearing. Great malt / hop balance. Creamy smooth, obviously has Lactose added, but just enough to smooth the pallet from the early chocolate tones. Great Beer!
The Samuel Smith beers were all very good. I would highly recommend sampling!
Ambrosia Farms Elderberry Mead Kit: Wow. Good fruit flavor with honey undertones. Strength of a barleywine yet much smoother. I will get more of these kits until I figure out how to make my own.
Modified MrBeer WITty Monk Beer Kit. Aged, tasting after one month bottled. See original Post!
