SG = 1.060      FG = 1.018

Steep 20 Minutes following
------------------------------
1/2 lb Black Patent
1/2 lb 90L Crystal Malt
1/2 lb Flaked Oat Barley

60 Minutes following
------------------------------
3.5 lb Dark Malt Liquid hopped
3.5 lb Wheat Malt Liquid un-hopped

2 oz Northern Brewer hops following
------------------------------
1 oz 20 minutes
1 oz 10 minutes

1 cup brown sugar last 30 minutes

1 teaspoon Irish Moss last 15 minutes

1 package 15 gram Cooper Yeast

Beer is dark in color, good cold or at room temperature

I realize this is an old post, but what the heck.  I assume this is for a five gallon batch?  I  plan to try something very close to this but with the extra fermentable being DME, not Brown sugar.  Is the brown sugar taste noticable in the beer?
